Ashley Bryden represents the very essence of what the Grow for Gold program stands for — courage, commitment, and the belief that barriers are meant to be broken. A recently identified Para Triathlon pathway athlete in the PTVI (vision-impaired) classification, Ashley has made remarkable strides over the past 18 months, combining physical strength with unwavering mental resilience to establish herself as one of Australia’s most promising young para-athletes.
Her journey in para triathlon has been defined by growth, grit, and gratitude. Ashley has embraced every challenge with positivity, learning from every race and continuously evolving as an athlete and leader. Her coaches describe her as “a joy to work with” — someone who turns feedback into progress and uplifts everyone around her through her energy and determination. Training closely with her guide, she’s built a partnership founded on trust, communication, and shared ambition, thriving within the AusTriathlon High Performance Paralympic Pathway.
Driven by her dream to represent Australia on the international stage, Ashley’s dedication shines through every training session and competition.
